1. Acceptance

By using this website or joining the FinTracker waitlist, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please don’t use the site.

2. What this site is, today

This website (fintracker.net) is a pre-launch landing page. The only interactive feature is the email waitlist. When the FinTracker iOS app launches, a separate App Terms of Service will govern app use and will supersede these terms for app users.

3. Who can use the site

You must be at least 16 to join the waitlist. The site is offered worldwide, but FinTracker will launch first in the United Kingdom and the European Union.

4. Waitlist

By submitting your email, you agree to receive:

  • A launch announcement when FinTracker becomes available.
  • Occasional pre-launch updates if you opted in to those.

You can unsubscribe at any time from any email. See the Privacy Policy for how we handle waitlist data.

5. Intellectual property

The FinTracker name, the Bao character, the FinTracker logo, the site copy, and all visual design are © Bao Labs LLC, all rights reserved. You may not use them to imply endorsement, build derivative products, or train AI models without our prior written permission.

Open-source components used by this site retain their original licences.

6. Acceptable use

Please don’t:

  • Attempt to break, scrape, or overload the site.
  • Submit other people’s email addresses without their consent.
  • Probe for security vulnerabilities without first contacting us at privacy@fintracker.net (a dedicated security mailbox will be set up before launch).

If you find a vulnerability and report it responsibly, we’ll thank you.

7. Disclaimer

The site is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Nothing on this site is financial, legal, tax, or investment advice. FinTracker by Bao is a personal-finance tool, not a regulated financial advisor. See the AI Disclaimer for how AI features are intended to be used.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bao Labs LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of this site. Our total liability for direct damages is limited to USD 100.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

9. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or FinTracker shall first be addressed through good-faith informal negotiation. If unresolved within 60 days, the dispute shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by JAMS under its Streamlined Arbitration Rules, conducted in English, with the seat of arbitration in Wyoming, United States. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction. Notwithstanding the above, either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction for matters involving intellectual property infringement.

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, United Kingdom, or any jurisdiction whose mandatory consumer protection laws prohibit the foregoing arbitration clause or choice of governing law, those mandatory local provisions apply to you instead, and you retain the right to bring proceedings in your local courts.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be flagged on this page with an updated "last updated" date. Continued use of the site after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
